Will,

It is hard to say if there is permanent damage. I have had CSR for 6 years now and sometimes it gets worse and sometimes a bit better, but as far as I can tell it is chronic and thus "Normal".

Vision in my right eye is about 20/30 with contact lenses, but when i close my left eye i REALLY have to concentrate to pick up fine details with my CSR eye.

I am not on my way to a detached retina, if this is what you mean.

I take vitamins for vision and have cut back on coffee, but this doesn't see to matter. I am just living with it now.

I am permanently annoyed with it, however.

Hi Will. I have CSR as well (and I am in IT as well, go figure...)

I have had it for 5 years now and while it isn't getting worse, it also isn't getting better. I would love for there to be a treatment for it outside of the laser photocoagulation that leaves a permanent blind spot on your retina.

That's really really rubbish, sorry to hear about it. The vision thing that is, not the server thing (what were you expecting, using Windows??). Get well soon, and all that :)
